Terms of Service
Effective October 10, 2026
These terms apply when you order from Horne's Restaurant through our website or our online ordering system, or make a reservation with us. By placing an order you accept them.
Placing an order
- An order you place online is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it.
- We may decline or cancel an order - for example if an item has sold out, if we cannot reach you on the number you gave us, or if we believe the order is a mistake or a duplicate. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
- Menu items, prices and availability can change without notice. The price shown when you place your order is the price that applies.
- Prices are in US dollars and include applicable sales tax, which is shown separately at checkout.
Pickup
We offer pickup. We do not currently offer delivery. Please collect your order at the time shown. If you are running late, call us - we will hold an order for a reasonable period, but food quality declines and we may not be able to keep it indefinitely.
Payment
- You can pay at pickup, or by card online where that option is offered.
- Online card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- If an online payment succeeds for an order we cannot fulfil, we refund it to the same card.
Cancellations and refunds
Call us as soon as you can if you need to cancel. If we have not started preparing your order we will cancel it, and refund any online payment in full. Once preparation has begun we may not be able to cancel it. If something is wrong with an order, contact us the same day and we will put it right.
Allergies and dietary requirements
Please tell us about any allergy or dietary requirement in the notes when you order, and again when you arrive. Our food is prepared in a shared kitchen where allergens including fish, shellfish, eggs, soy, wheat/gluten, peanuts and tree nuts are handled. We take reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is free from a particular allergen, and we cannot accept liability for a reaction where the risk has been disclosed but the customer chooses to proceed.
Reservations
A reservation request is confirmed when we confirm it. Please arrive within a reasonable time of your slot; we may release a table if you are significantly late and have not called. Large parties may be subject to a set menu or deposit, which we will tell you about in advance.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number when ordering, we may text you about that order. Message frequency varies with how often you order - typically no more than 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Our website
We try to keep our website and ordering system available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw any part of it. Content on this site belongs to us and may not be reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the restaurant is located, and disputes are subject to the courts of that state.
